MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
The Board of Trustees, students and staff of IPC Tertiary Institute join me in expressing condolences and sadness concerning the tragedy of the last few days in the Philippines as a result of the dreadful typhoon that caused so many casualties and so much devastation.
Our twenty Filipino post-graduate students are a very important part of the student body at IPC. Our immediate thoughts go to them and their families and friends during this time of anxiety, uncertainty and sadness. I met with the students today; several come from the most effected area and still await news. Our Student Support services are readily available for our students who might seek assistance or advice.
Beyond our institution, we join the world in shock at the devastation of this disastrous event and its aftermath in the Philippines. Our thoughts are with the country and the people and communities affected in any way.
Prof Wayne L Edwards, OBE [President]
